Hackers broke into Lady Gaga's Facebook page and placed an offer for a free customized iPad to approximately 45 million fans on her network.

The phishing attack lasted only about an hour before it was recognized and pulled down. During that hour, Web page users were directed to a page hosted on the free Blogspot service, the reports say. Fans who clicked on the link and filled in the online form might have given their personal information to the scammers.
