Forensicator readiness is the method I've been using to help prepare myself to be able to investigate any situation regardless of the circumstances. I think it might be useful to others. Experienced analysts/examiners can use it to learn how to investigate new types of cases or students can use it to help prepare them for the common cases they might face.
